The project makes use of a customised mobile device app that captures the surrounding sound and uses augmented reality (AR) technology to represent the noises visually. The app allows users to access noise parameters such as frequency and amplitude and to interact with the AR simulation. This active participation allows users to customise the experience to match their preferences and provides a unique and engaging way to experience the urban environment.
